The Hoochery Distillery is Western Australia's oldest operating legal still, located in Kununurra, WA. It is a fast growing and dynamic business. We are seeking an energetic and positive person to join our team for the current tourist season. This can be a seasonal position and must be able to commit until end of September.

The distillery is located on our farm, 13km out of the township of Kununurra, WA and accomodation is provided on the farm.

The role:
Chef - working autonomously to run a small team of people to serve lunch 6 days per week and a few events in the evening throughout the season. Responsible for all aspects of running a kitchen: stock control, hygiene, ensure a high quality product that the customer will enjoy at all times. This could be your opportunity to show your individual flare in a unique environment.

We also have an additional for a Pastry Chef - creating cakes and desserts for our distillery cafe that help showcase our rum, gin and liqueurs in the items.

Accommodation provided on our farm.

The position counts towards 88 rural days.
Immediate sponsorship is not available. but longer term if required we have approved DAMA Sponsorship for this position.

Our Cafe is CLOSED on SUNDAYS so you will still get to enjoy a weekend every single weekend!!! Lots of fun along the way with regular staff events; Croc spotting, hiking, boating and of course some rum and gin tastings!
