About the role

Kershaw Cranes is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Catherine Field, NSW. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the delivery of complex construction projects across the region. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of crane equipment, ensuring our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a range of mobile cranes including but not limited to 25t Franna and 25-40t truck mounted cranes.

Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned crane equipment

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, riggers and other construction personnel to coordinate crane movements and lifts

Maintain detailed logs, including work hours, maintenance, and any incidents

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Crane Operator, ideally within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of safe crane operation and load management

Holds a valid High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for the operation of the required crane equipment

Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills

Thorough knowledge of crane safety procedures, load charts, and industry regulations

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other construction personnel

Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all relevant health and safety policies
