About the role

Capital Cranes A.C.T. Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Franna Operators and Slew Crane Operators to join our team in Hume, ACT on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects in the region.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate Franna cranes and slew cranes to load, unload and move materials and equipment on construction sites

Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance including greasing on the machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Maintain detailed records of your daily activities and equipment usage

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience operating Franna cranes and/or slew cranes in a construction environment

Holds a valid High-Risk Work Licence for the operation of the relevant crane types

As a minimum MR Licence

Must have Asbestos Awareness & Crystalline Silica Awareness

Excellent knowledge of crane operation best practices and safety protocols

Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with construction crews

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities on busy construction sites
