About the role

Action Cranes' is seeking a skilled Crane Operator & Dogman to join our growing team in Padstow, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about the crane industry and ensuring safe and efficient site operations.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a variety of crane types, including city cranes ranging from 13t to 50t , Frannas ranging from 20t to 28t and all terrain cranes up to 100t.

Coordinate with site teams to plan and execute crane lifts, ensuring loads are properly rigged and secured

Perform pre-operational inspections and maintain detailed logs on crane

Maintain work vehicles as required

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with safety protocols

Assist with the set-up and dismantling of cranes as required

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator & Dogman

Relevant crane operator and dogman certifications, including a high-risk work licence

Strong knowledge of crane operation and load handling procedures

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to incident prevention

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing site conditions

Crane operator minimum HR licence. HC road ranger licence an advantage

Dogman minimum HR licence. HC road ranger licence an advantage
