About the role

As an Experienced 150t Crane Operator and Rigger at Zeus Cranes Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in our crane operations and supporting our clients' projects. This full-time position is located in Molendinar, Queensland, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of construction sites and projects.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and maintain a 150-tonne crane, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency

Conduct pre-operational inspections and complete all necessary documentation

Rig and de-rig loads, utilising your expertise in rigging techniques and load calculations

Collaborate with the project team to plan and execute crane lifts, adhering to all safety protocols

Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced crane operators and riggers

Maintain detailed records of crane usage, maintenance and any incidents

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and productivity

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a 150-tonne crane operator in the construction industry

Formal qualifications in crane operation and rigging, including a High-Risk Work Licence (Crane)

Demonstrated expertise in load calculations, weight distribution and safe rigging practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Strong commitment to safety, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Proficiency in operating and maintaining a range of crane types and accessories

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
