My client is a progressive and growing CA firm making waves in the industry. They offer comprehensive services across Tax Compliance and Consultancy, Business Advice and Support, and Superannuation.

The firm was founded just over 10 years ago, and has gone from strength to strength ever since.

They are now looking for a motivated and passionate Accountant to join their team.

Your role will involve providing a full suite of accounting services to a diverse range of SME clients, while working closely with two down-to-earth and easy-going Senior Managers. Both of whom are heavily invested in the development of their team.

Although boutique in size the firm has a wide variety of clients and really empower their staff to develop their technical skillset. This role will offer the opportunity to deepen your tax planning and advisory skills.

Internally the firm has had excellent stability and have rarely had to hire in the past 5 years (with several staff members actually returning to the business after venturing off to new roles). They put this down to several factors

Career progression - almost all of the Senior level staff have been internally promoted

The ideal candidate will possess:

CA/CPA Qualification (or be currently undertaking)

3 + years experience in public practice accounting (with exposure to SMSF highly advantageous)

Experience with Xero & MYOB software

Ability to work well in a team environment where sharing of knowledge is encouraged

A willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player

Strong verbal and written communication skills
