About this role

As the Practice Lead – Clinical, you’ll work across the Seniors Living portfolio to strengthen our clinical frameworks, support compliance and accreditation outcomes, and embed best practice across all areas of care. This is a leadership role focused on governance, quality, and improvement – not operational line management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and developing systems, policies, and procedures to support excellence in clinical care
  • Interpreting and embedding legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Leading organisation-wide responses to audit outcomes, adverse events, and investigations
  • Translating clinical evidence and innovation into everyday care delivery
  • Supporting service-level clinical leadership with coaching, tools, and education
  • Contributing to quality and risk mitigation strategies that are consistent with our mission and values

What you can bring to the team

You’re a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of clinical governance and risk. You know how to influence and support teams, translate complex regulation into practical action, and build trust through expertise and integrity.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Brings at least 5 years of experience in aged care or community care leadership
  • Has a sound grasp of accreditation standards, compliance, and clinical frameworks
  • Is proactive, solutions-focused, and values-aligned
  • Thrives in a team setting and is known for their collegial, collaborative style
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check, COVID-19 vaccination, and Influenza vaccination

Desirable experience includes:

  • AutumnCare
  • Riskman
  • MPS/Medishphere
  • Power BI
  • Sandwai

  • Clinical Governance and Quality Auditing
  • Medication Governance
  • Palliative Care
  • Dementia Care and Specialist Practice
  • Post-graduate qualifications in relevant areas (e.g. Gerontic Nursing, Quality, or Dementia Care)
  • Desirable experience using:
