About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Premiertax Vic Pty Ltd as a full-time Senior Bookkeeper. Based in Airport West VIC 3042, this role will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients

Preparing and processing invoices, payments, payroll and other financial transactions

Reconciling bank statements and managing accounts receivable and payable

Generating financial reports, BAS statements and other key documents

Providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients to improve their financial management

Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure seamless service delivery

Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the bookkeeping team

What we're looking for

Minimum 4 years' experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices and software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks)

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and client service skills

Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Bookkeeping)
