Our client is a National Leader in the Plastics Manufacturing now have an exciting opportunity for EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERTORS / TECHNICIANS to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Factory and work for a multi-national company.

Sydney West Location. 12 Hour Shifts in a Rotating 24/7 Roster (Includes Weekend Work). IMMEDIATE Start for the right applicants. temp - permanent role.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Quality Assurance, ensuring products are within required standards,
• Measuring Products diameter continuously,
• Operating plastic extrusion machine,
• Manual handling / forklift operating,
• General factory duties where required,
• Experience with Micrometre preferred but not essential,
• Updating extrusion reports daily.

To be successful for this role, you MUST:

• Have previous experience with Plastic Profile Extrusion Machinery / Plastics Industry,
• Have a current LF Forklift License – desirable,
• Have a great work ethic with reliability and commitment,
• Have good mechanical aptitude with the mindset to work unsupervised,
• Have a "can do" attitude with an ability to be part of a team,
• Have a high attention to detail,
• Able to commence ASAP,
• Good communication skills,
• Ability to work as part of a team,
• Safety conscious,
• Have your own reliable transportation,
• Can work on a 7-day 24hr rotating roster (including weekends).

Previous experience within the plastics industry would be Highly DESIRABLE, however a strong background in manufacturing and stable work history will also be taken into consideration.
