About Us:
Treehouse Childcare and Early Learning Centre is a custom-built establishment that delivers exceptional childcare services from six weeks old to the start of school. Treehouse Childcare and Early Learning Centre maintain regular operating hours for 52 weeks yearly to offer ongoing family assistance.
Multiple spacious areas inside the facility contain well-equipped playrooms promoting exploration and creativity
Children show comfort and accessibility to facilities, including bathrooms that welcome trained toilet users and younger children

About the Role:
A Childcare Educator is responsible for providing care, education, and supervision for children, often in a centre-based setting. Educators plan and implement learning programs, manage daily routines, and ensure children's safety and well-being. They also build relationships with children and their families and may be involved in assessing and recording children's development.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Care and Supervision:
Providing for children's basic needs, such as feeding, hygiene, and rest, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Educational Activities:
Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning activities, including play-based learning and structured sessions.
Curriculum Development:
ACECQA (Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority) outlines requirements for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and practices.
Observation and Assessment:
Observing children's learning and development, and using this information to inform future planning and practices.
Communication:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families, and communicating effectively with parents and other professionals.
Safety and Hygiene:
Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children, including following hygiene protocols and administering first aid.
Teamwork:
Working collaboratively with other educators and staff to provide a high-quality service.
Compliance:
Adhering to relevant policies, legislation, and regulations, including the National Quality Framework.
Essential Requirements:
· Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50121)
· Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not essential
· Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting
· Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Framework (NQF)
and the Reggio Emilia approach
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC)
Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012)
ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
Certificate in Child Protection
Certificate in safe Food Handling
