The Salary range is currently $37.35 to $40.05per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

What You’ll Do
In this meaningful role, you’ll play a vital part in helping young people in care feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their goals. You’ll work closely with children and young people aged 0–17 in a supportive team environment, helping to create stable and nurturing experiences; min. 16 hrs/week in a culturally inclusive role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and emotional support to young people in foster placements
- Help young people build skills and confidence through routines and activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with young people, carers, and team
- Transport children safely and responsibly as needed
- Maintain accurate, legally sound records and reports
About You
- Minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or related field
- 1+ year of experience in child protection or community services
- A positive role model who builds rapport with young people
- Culturally aware and inclusive, especially with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Comfortable with technology – Microsoft Office, documentation tools
- Hold a current Blue Card, Police Check, and LCS screening – or the ability to obtain
