The Salary range is $30.98 to $33.31 per hour. Hourly rate is based on experience.

About the role
We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our Seniors Living team. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities tailored to their individual physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and emotional support to residents, including mobility assistance, participation in activities, meal support, and social outings.
- Provide medication assistance as per competency standards.
- Collaborate in developing and reviewing resident care plans; accurately document and report any health changes to the nursing team.
- Uphold the dignity, respect, and privacy of residents, ensuring all interactions are confidential and compassionate.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for all residents.
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and serving of meals.
- Perform delegated tasks as assigned by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.
- Work in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.
About you
You are a compassionate, patient, and dedicated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to person-centred care. Your strong communication skills allow you to connect with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of support and service.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants);
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to person-centred care and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and their families.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Compassion, respect, and patience in caring for elderly residents.
- Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week;
- Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.
