The Salary range for this position is $32.14 to $34.75 per hour. Hourly rate is based on experience.

About the Role:

We're urgently seeking Personal Care Workers with Aged Care experience to join our team on a Permanent Part-time basis! Shifts are available across AM, PM, and Night duty — apply now and make a real difference!

You’ll deliver essential support to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion. From assisting with daily living activities to fostering a comfortable and safe environment, your role is vital to the well-being of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living tasks, including mobility, meals, and personal care.
  • Participate in the development and review of resident/client care plans; ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate to facilitate ongoing planning and provision of care for residents.
  • Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensure that all interaction with residents and their representatives are treated confidentially.
  • Support the development and review of care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, dignified, and comfortable environment for all residents.
  • Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by Registered Nurse.
  • Perform position responsibilities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.

Essential Experience and Work availability:

  • Level 3 – demonstrated experience in direct care role within aged care.
  • Part-time hour shifts, 30 – 75hrs per fortnight
  • MUST be available for weekday shifts from Monday – Friday AM / PM and some weekend work, flexible to work across 7-day roster covering Morning, Afternoon, and Night duty, sick leave and annual leave support positions.

To be suitable for this position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Completion of the following units of competency: HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication.
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support (Aged Care).
  • Possess a current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check – or the ability to acquire.
