Power Quality Estimator & Technical Sales Support

Power On Australia is seeking a technically skilled estimator with power quality experience to quote, scope, and support the delivery of tailored energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure clients. This role combines estimating, technical sales support, and project scoping for systems that keep critical operations running.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for power quality hardware, UPS systems, and battery-backed solutions

Scope jobs via drawings, specs, and occasional site visits; interpret technical data and client needs

Recommend compliant, fit-for-purpose products and configurations based on real-world application

Support the sales process with documentation, pricing accuracy, and technical input for tenders

Liaise with engineering and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution

Stay current with supplier capabilities and product updates to ensure competitive, high-performance quoting

Assist with peer reviews and project support where required

Your Background

Electrical or Power Systems Engineering qualification (Cert IV or higher)

Hands-on experience in UPS, voltage regulation, battery integration, or broader power quality systems

Familiarity with BOMs, quoting software, and pricing models

Strong communication skills to liaise across technical, commercial, and client-facing environments

Exposure to field work, commissioning, or supplier-side relationships is a strong advantage
