Estimator – Metal Fabrication
📍 Location: Darra, QLD
💰 Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 + Super
🕖 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a long-standing, Australian-owned metal fabrication business with over 60 years of success across the Power, Marine, Mining, and Industrial sectors. This is a full-time opportunity based in Darra, offering a stable and supportive team environment with genuine career growth potential into project management.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Scope, estimate, and quote metal fabrication projects using industry knowledge and supplier pricing.
• Conduct site visits, provide client updates, and follow up on quotations.
• Review plans, supplier quotes, and maintain accurate pricing databases.
• Manage and utilise Syspro and CRM systems to support streamlined estimating and sales processes.
• Attend internal sales meetings and support the sales team in quoting and client follow-up.
• Prepare and present performance reports as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication estimating.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Syspro (or similar ERP systems).
• Exceptional attention to detail and customer service.
• Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with production, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
• A professional, organised, and client-focused approach.
