The Opportunity
Our client is a top performing Professional Services firm with national operations, they are widely recognised for continually achieving outstanding results for their clients. The business is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their high performing finance team.

The Challenge
Reporting to the Finance Director and partnering with National General Managers, the Finance Business Partner will provide advice on all project accounting matters.

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

• Support firm-wide financial decision-making through reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Drive cost efficiency and enhance financial insights across the business.
• Act as a commercial advisor through strong business partnering with legal and shared services teams.
• Deliver monthly financial reports and commentary for various departments.
• Prepare partner entitlements, allocations, and KPI analysis.
• Build trust with key stakeholders by providing clear financial advice and attending planning sessions.
• Manage forecasts and budgets using TM1, including detailed variance and trend analysis.
• Conduct scenario analysis and review profitability and working capital metrics.
• Prepare financial data to support lawyer and partner performance evaluations and promotions.
• Develop executive-level presentations and lead improvements in reporting and strategic projects.

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA with 6-8 years post qualified experience
• The ideal candidate started their career in Big4 or a mid tier firm followed by experience in industry for a large global corporation or professional services firm
• It is expected you have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and analysis
• Experience with managing large data sets
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders
