This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation within one of Australia's largest educational organisations.
The two LBA roles are an IDAM/Cybersecurity role and a Finance/Payroll role. Both of these roles are for the same program, however, have more detailed requirements for the corresponding role.
What you'll do (generally, more specifics on each role below):
As a Lead Business Analyst - Finance/Payroll, your role will be pivotal in supporting the program. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology. This involves analysing business requirements, optimising financial processes, and ensuring system configurations align with business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive system (and process) enhancements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
As a Lead Business Analyst - IDAM, your role will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts on the integration of IDAM (Microsoft Entra ID), CyberArk and MDM (Informatica)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and turn these into functional & technical specifications.
- Support the implementation partner through the configuration of the Finance ERP modules according to business requirements.
- Perform solution testing to validate that the solution is built as per requirements and agreed design.
- Support training team delivery to end-users and provide ongoing support to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the data migration strategy from legacy systems to the new ERP.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct one on one interviews, process mapping and utilising other methods including developing User Stories, and likely working to Agile sprint cycles.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Lead Business Analyst - Finance/Payroll position will bring proven experience as a Business Analyst with end-to-end SDLC implementation of a finance ERP such as Oracle or SAP or other similar/equivalent product suite. You will have in-depth domain knowledge of the finance functions in the education sector. Your strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools will be essential for this role.
