About the 12 month contract:
As a Learning Partner at HCF, you will drive operational performance by building employee capability through innovative learning solutions. You'll create a high-performing culture where our people feel safe, encouraged, and empowered to achieve their potential.
You will conduct learning needs analysis, align solutions with strategic initiatives, and manage training plans, communications, and program logistics. Additionally, you'll provide oversight and mentorship to local Training Consultants, ensuring high-quality training programs.
About You:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for learning and development. You excel at designing and delivering customized training programs and collaborating with stakeholders to address key capability gaps. Your excellent communication and facilitation skills enable you to engage learners effectively.
You possess relevant tertiary qualifications and have experience managing multiple projects, using Learning Management Systems, and applying adult learning principles. Your creativity and innovation ensure that learning outcomes are achieved, and your strong stakeholder management skills help you build professional networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customized training programs using instructional design methodology.
- Conduct training needs analysis and create training plans in partnership with stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical and soft-skills training (face-to-face or virtually) in a structured and consistent manner.
- Develop e-learning content and blended learning solutions.
- Evaluate learning programs for relevancy and quality assurance.
- Support local Training Consultants in designing and developing learning content.
- Administer the LMS, maintain student records, run training reports, and manage program logistics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the culture and capabilities required to deliver on the business strategy.
- Identify key capability gaps that need to be addressed to meet business objectives.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and regularly update, maintain, and validate existing training programs.
- Integrate emerging instructional methods and technologies into learning solutions.
- Partner with external vendors to find cost-effective and relevant training for HCF.
- Ensure activities are planned, implemented to a high standard, on time, and meet corporate guidelines.
- Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship for local Training Consultants.
- Support the deployment of learning programs, including uploading and updating courses, training assignments, learner notification text, and rules in LMS.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in learning and assessment design, online education, or adult education.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and web-based tools for learning design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent facilitation skills and ability to engage learners during training sessions.
- Strong understanding of the design, development, management, and evaluation of learning programs to meet targeted needs of adult learners.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of the private health insurance industry.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with HTML, audio and video editing software.
