Our Business

Transport for Brisbane (TfB) division operates and maintains one of the largest public transport fleets in Australia to deliver public transport services for the people living, working, and visiting the City of Brisbane. Through contracts with the State Government and private organisations we provide clean, convenient, and effective transport options on bus, CityCat, ferry, e-bike, e-scooter, and Brisbane Metro.

Our Branch

Strategy and Network Services branch support the division through the coordination and delivery of divisional specific Learning and Development programs; support in Health, Safety and Environment compliance and initiatives; and implement business and process improvement measures.

The Role

Our team is seeking a motivated and experienced Learning and Development Project Coordinator to lead the coordination and delivery of learning initiatives that support our strategic projects - most notably, Brisbane Metro Readiness. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise across the full learning lifecycle, from needs analysis to program delivery and evaluation, while also championing a customer-focused and values-led approach. You’ll play a critical role in shaping workforce capability, responding to organisational needs, and enabling strategic success.

In this role you will:

  • design, deliver and evaluate end-to-end learning programs that align with strategic business goals
  • lead learning needs analysis and apply insights to develop innovative, future-focused solutions
  • manage learning projects using effective project management practices to ensure quality and timeliness
  • champion continuous improvement and contemporary approaches to workforce development
  • lead, mentor and support team members to ensure successful delivery of strategic learning initiatives and foster professional growth.

To be successful you will have:

  • experience in learning needs analysis, instructional design, and facilitation of engaging learning programs
  • strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver results independently and within deadlines
  • knowledge of learning innovations and best practices, with a drive to apply them in practical ways
  • excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and lead
  • proven experience in leading and developing a team
  • the ability to work on multiple independent projects simultaneously.
