Salary between $93,700-$102,000 (dependant on experience) + super

We have an opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Business Partner Learning and Development who can focuses on enhancing the organisational effectiveness of our people through the design, development and implementation of learning solutions to build organisational capability and achieve Council's strategy and objectives.
This role will provide you the opportunity to:
Partner with Council’s leaders, providing guidance and advice to build organisational capability and identify and support the implementation of learning and development across the organisation.
Assist staff and people leaders to identify, source and implement learning and development opportunities relevant to their area of work.
Contribute to the development and implementation of structured development and career progression processes, conversations, and pathways.
Establish and maintain regular communications with leadership and key stakeholders to build and embed a supportive, strategic, and collaborative approach to learning and development.
Assist in the implementation of strategic department and operational initiatives, action plans and strategies.
End-to-end ownership of all of Councils learning programs that support implementation of Council’s capability framework and compliance matrix.
Ownership of the Council’s online Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinate ongoing administration and function of the LMS.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Motivated to build collaborative working relationships with people at all levels of Council by applying exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in the design, development and delivery of effective L&D programs and organisational development initiatives.
A good understanding of contemporary learning and development practices (learning strategy, training needs analysis, capability mapping, , etc.)
Experience in administering an online Learning Management System (LMS) and using eLearning authoring tools to create impactful content.
Experience scheduling and coordinating learning activities, working with external vendors and managing stakeholder expectations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced diverse workplace.
Maintain accurate data and ability to measure value/impact of activities by developing, analysing, and reporting on metrics.
DESIRABLE
Confident and experienced facilitator and presenter able to connect with varied audiences using adult learning principles in an engaging way.
Experience in a multi-disciplinary organisation or Council.
