STRAND Property Buyers is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-driven Associate Buyer’s Agent to join our tight-knit team on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

In this full-time role, you’ll play a hands-on part in guiding our clients through the exciting (and sometimes daunting!) journey of buying a home. From sourcing and inspecting properties to helping assess value and carrying out due-diligence, your contribution will be key to delivering the standout service STRAND is known for.

What you'll be doing

Source, research, evaluate, and shortlist properties to meet client needs.

Maintain strong relationships with selling agents to uncover on/off-market opportunities.

Conduct inspections, capture property details, and report findings.

Manage CRM, property tracking, and agent databases.

Coordinate inspection schedules and support team logistics.

Some administrative tasks on behalf of the office and senior team.

Prepare property assessments, pricing reports, and comparable sales analyses.

Draft offer letters, sales advice, and agency agreements.

Liaise with professionals (solicitors, brokers, inspectors, trades) during transactions.

Arrange building, strata, and trade inspections.

Support marketing and proposal preparation for client acquisition.

Attend new client briefings and meetings.

Source rental appraisals for investment properties.

Monitor shared inboxes and assist with team communication.

Maintain real estate licence compliance.

Contribute to marketing strategies and business development.

Stay informed on local market trends and collaborate across the industry.

What we're looking for

Essential Attributes

Current driver’s licence

Able to provide your own motor vehicle for work purposes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A proven ability to build strong professional relationships

A proven ability to achieve and exceed set targets

Attention to detail

Strong organisational skills

Task orientated and able to work with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines

A professional attitude with a friendly and easy-going demeanour

Well presented, enthusiastic and motivated to contribute towards a common cause

Desirable Attributes

Possession of a Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration

Experience in the real estate industry

Experience in the local property market

An understanding of the local real estate market

Relevant formal training

An analytical mind with an ability to work with numbers and property data

Good researching skills and the ability to collate, organise and review information

Previous experience working with CRM platforms and databases
