THE COMPANY

Our client are a private Building Surveying firm located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, who provide building certification and consultant services specialising in the residential and domestic sector. They predominately look after project/custom home builders and some volume builders.

DUTIES

1. Building permit application assessments (class 1 & 10 buildings);
2. Building permit amendment assessments;
3. Minor administrative duties were required;
4. Client liaison, satisfaction and meetings;
5. Client permit and compliance queries (phone & email);
6. Enforcement i.e. Direction to fix, building notices, building orders;
7. Building inspections;
8. Coordinating and chairing technical meetings;
9. Reporting to management;

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Domestic Building Surveying experience (minimum 1.5 years +), Commercial experience is beneficial but not essential
• A detail oriented person
• Able to be self motivated and autonomous
• Have a stable career history
