We are seeking one full-time Senior Barista for our Fitzroy venue to assist the Head Barista in leading our coffee service team in our iconic Melbourne venue.

Working in beautifully designed facilities with a progressive workplace culture, you will be responsible, with the guidance of our Head Barista, for the execution and maintenance of the Lune coffee and beverage program to the highest standards of excellence. Working alongside a team of FOH Attendants and Baristas, you are integral in ensuring the consistently high quality of presentation of our world-class product and providing guests with moments of joy each time they enter a Lune venue.

We believe in comprehensive training and development in order to maintain our standards and consistency across the brand. On the completion of your training, you will be equipped with confidence and knowledge and able to hit the ground running as the Fitzroy Senior Barista.

You are:

• Available for a Tuesday-Saturday roster
• Experienced in specialty coffee (at least 3 years), with tenure of 1.5 years as Senior or Lead Barista in a high-volume environment
• Knowledgeable about coffee equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
• A collaborator who enjoys curating exceptional guest experiences
• An accessible and empathetic communicator who values building a positive work environment through leading, training, and mentoring a team of baristas
• A skilled trainer who an enact effective development (product knowledge, job related task performance) of team members that meet and exceed Lune’s objectives,
• Motivated to create and establish a culture of continuous learning and passion for coffee within the FOH team
• Passionate about our product, with a good understanding of the Lune brand
