The Role

As the Tax Accountant, you will sit in a corporate office environment and report to a Group Reporting Manager. Your duties will include:

Prepare, lodge and file corporate income tax, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns.

Conduct regular reviews of tax compliance for APAC and ensure adherence to tax laws.

Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend strategies to improve the company’s tax position.

Maintain and update tax records and documentation.

Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.

Your Background

To be considered for this Tax Accountant role, you will meet the majority of the following:

Be professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA or a Masters in Tax).

Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a similar Tax Accountant role within a commercial or Public Practice Accounting firm.

Our client will consider First-time movers with a background in tax and/or business services.

Detail orientated with a passion for tax accounting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
