About the role

This is an exciting opportunity join us on a new venture as an Accountant CPA Tax Agent Partner. In this contract role, you will be based in Melbourne VIC 3000, providing strategic, high-quality, and commercially-focused tax and accounting services to the company's diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and lodging tax returns and activity statements for individuals and businesses

Providing tax planning and compliance services, including advising on tax minimisation strategies

Conducting financial statement audits and reviews

Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting

Advising clients on a range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory matters

Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities

Supervising and mentoring junior team members in the future as we grow.

What we're looking for

Qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with a valid Tax Agent registration

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a public practice environment

Proven track record in providing high-quality tax and accounting services to a diverse client base

Excellent technical skills in taxation, accounting, and financial reporting

Strong client relationship and business development capabilities

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
