Our client, a boutique tax accounting and business advisory firm, seeks a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant CPA to join their dynamic team in Dandenong, VIC. You will be crucial in providing strategic tax planning and compliance services to a diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations

Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimise their tax liabilities and maximise their financial outcomes

Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities and address client needs

Collaborate with the wider team to provide comprehensive business advisory services to clients

Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and supporting their professional development

Maintain strong client relationships, anticipating and addressing their evolving tax and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification with 5+ years' experience in public practice tax accounting

In-depth knowledge of Australian tax legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements

Proven track record of providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build trusted client relationships

Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
