About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands on Hotel Manager to join our team at Purple Pub, a remote pub located in Normanton, NW QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of hospitality professionals, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high standards of service

Oversee all hotel operations, including reception,poker machines, Keno, TAB, food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance

Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, revenue and profitability

Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns

Manage the hotel's budget and financial performance

Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and retention

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a hotel management role, preferably in a remote or regional setting with Current Approved managers licence, Current RMLV certificate

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to identify and address customer needs

Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and improving business performance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Knowledge of the hospitality industry regulations and best practices
