About the role

Sette Cafe is seeking an experienced Salad Chef to join our team. This full-time role is based in our cafe in Eveleigh, NSW. As Salad Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a range of fresh, seasonal salads to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing high-quality salads using a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Ensuring all salads meet our exacting standards for taste, presentation and food safety
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new and innovative salad recipes
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation
• Assisting with other kitchen duties as required

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience as a Salad Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or extensive café and catering experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Creativity and a passion for producing high-quality, flavourful salads
• The ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
