Client Details

A respected Australian healthcare provider, our client has been serving the WA public for well over a quarter of a century. Due to business growth, the team is now seeking to strengthen its finance function with this newly created position.

Description

Reporting into the CFO, this role has been created to bridge the gap between the CFO and wider finance team, with the successful candidate responsible for:

• Run month end close
• Preprare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Meet financial reporting deadlines
• Assist with upcoming system implementation
• Oversee finance team from a people leadership perspective

Profile

The successful candidate will be a CA/CPA qualified accountant with prior commercial experience in a similar leadership role. Key traits will also include:

• Experience leading teams of 2-5
• Proven track record being a 2IC to Head of Finance/CFO
• Ability to manage finance team through system implementation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
