EXPERIENCED PART-TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST

Corinda Dental Centre is an established provider of quality dental care services, seeking an experienced all-rounder to join our team 2-3 days a week at our clinic in south-west Brisbane.

The team at Corinda Dental Centre prides itself on delivering an honest and high standard of dental care in a gentle and friendly environment. We are a small and busy practice that operates with two dentists offering a range of services including general dentistry, cosmetic, implant and orthodontic services. We have modern chairs and equipment, a CBCT/OPG machine, digital radiography, Primescan and intra-oral cameras. About the Role

This is a dual role and will require you to excel in dental assisting and reception duties.

As an assistant, you will help dentists with a variety of dental procedures, surgery preparation, radiographic processing, wiping down and disposing of materials, and instrument sterilisation. When on reception, you will act as the friendly face of the practice, welcome patients on arrival, perform general administration tasks, make appointment bookings, process payments and manage all telephone and emailcommunications.

Initially you will be working on a casual basis during a trial period, prior to the offer of a permanent position.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant or receptionist preferred

• A high level of chair-side assisting, with a Cert III in Dental Assisting advantageous

• A friendly and professional telephone manner

• The willingness to take initiative, be a team player and ‘jump in’ wherever needed

• A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills

• Knowledge in Dental4Windows software preferred
