Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Power Apps/Platform Developer to join our team in the Public Sector and Government industry. This role involves developing and maintaining Power Apps and Power Platform solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with best practices. The position is based in Perth and requires the successful incumbent to be based here in WA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Platform solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and implement custom business applications using Power Apps.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform applications.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and updates.

Expected Qualifications

• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Platform development.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse and Common Data Service.
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure services and integration.
• Ability to write and debug code using languages like JavaScript and C#.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SharePoint and Office 365 integration.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in the creation and maintenance of Power Platform dataflows including the use of custom APIs.
• Experience in creating and configuring Power Automate flows.
• Configuration and maintenance of Dataverse security roles and entities.
• AIS integration experience and exposure to integration platforms such as Boomi.
• Experience with wireframe tools and UI/UX creation.
• Experience in creation and maintenance of Azure Logic Apps.
• Working experience with Azure DevOps and Pipelines.
• Experience using SCRUM as a project delivery methodology.
• Experience in submission of change requests via ServiceNow.
• Configuration of dashboards and reporting using PowerBI.
• Experience developing Canvas Apps in Power Platform.
• Experience creating and maintaining web resources using JavaScript.
• Experience developing PCF components using React/Typescript.
