Are you passionate about safety, organisation, and making a real impact behind the scenes? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety and Compliance Admin Officer to play a key role in supporting our Quality, Safety and Compliance Program.
In this vital position, you’ll coordinate the Safety Support Desk, manage data and external communications, and assist with important regulatory reporting tasks. Working closely with a dedicated team, your efforts will help us maintain the highest standards of safety and wellbeing for both children and staff.
This hybrid role (3 days in our East Melbourne office, 2 days remote) is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and cares deeply about creating safer spaces.

Job Description
As the Safety and Compliance Admin Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Quality, Safety and Compliance Program through a variety of administrative and coordination tasks:
Coordinate the Safety Support Desk by monitoring inbox and phone lines, responding to queries, escalating incidents when needed, and ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping
Maintain safety and compliance data through up-to-date spreadsheets, centralised documentation, and supporting data analysis and reporting efforts
Support external stakeholder communication by assisting with regulatory correspondence, tracking deadlines, and preparing reports and presentations
Manage online compliance submissions to key portals such as NQAITS and Worksafe, and coordinate applications like council kitchen licenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling, reporting, process improvement suggestions, and preparation of stakeholder materials
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
Tertiary qualification in Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Experience in admin or project support, with bonus points for education or community service backgrounds
Confident using online portals, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail
Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable - you thrive in dynamic environments and handle sensitive info with care
