This position is for our New store at Westfield Mt Gravatt opening 3rd week of May

We are looking for a shipping picker and packing person. The role could also involve working instore as a retail assistant. You will have good organisational and communication skills. This position is open to all ages. You would need to be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week. Potential to earn above award and permanency, based on performance and qualifying period. This applicant needs to be reliable.

We are also looking for a Junior Casual. Suitable for a Uni student.

Do you think outside the square? Want to work in a fun store with super cool collectables and games? Many tasks and skills to be learnt making the roll more interesting. Interact with customers via multiple Social Media platforms (from the store accounts), pick and process Online orders, learn to Trade in 2nd hand goods. Process new stock and visually merchandise it. Be involved with our Trading Card events. Play the Boardgames we sell, with the team in meetings.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Retail Assistant, the purpose of your role is to provide quality customer service, keep our store looking great, and assist with the various roles in the store on a day to day to basis.

In this role you will be responsible for:

· Providing outstanding customer service

· Maintaining in-depth and accurate knowledge of products and current promotions

· Assisting with day-to-day store operations i.e., processing high levels of incoming stock, picking & packing of online orders, processing second-hand trade ins and more!

· Maintaining the store’s appearance and organisation to a high standard

· Inventory control and loss prevention

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who can commit to being available during school holidays. Especially in the month of December. Holidays can be taken prior and after however we need all our staff to be available specifically in the 2 week period prior to Christmas day. Many hands make light work.

We are looking to fill Senior and Junior rolls. Will need to work some evening shifts until 9.30pm and weekend shifts

We are in need of an individual who is vigilant in upholding our processes and procedures

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Knowledge of retail requirements such as POS, inventory control, cash handling, security, and store presentation (preferred)

· Retail and/or customer service experience (required)
