Mind + Gut Clinic delivers specialist allied health services for adults and children with disorders of gut-brain interaction.

As the only clinic of its kind in Australia, we offer integrated access to psychology, dietetics, and gut-directed hypnotherapy within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. Our clinicians are supported by strong referral pathways, with most patients referred by gastroenterologists and GPs seeking targeted, evidence-based care.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated psychologist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialised and growing area of health psychology, supporting individuals with complex gastrointestinal presentations.

In this role, you will:

Conduct psychological assessments and deliver tailored interventions addressing both physical and emotional symptom profiles

Provide evidence-based treatments, including gut-directed hypnotherapy

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, dietitians, and hypnotherapists

Participate in a structured onboarding program, including supervision with Dr Simone Peters

About You

You are a registered psychologist (general , health or clinical) with:

Demonstrated experience working with chronic illness, complex presentations, or in a health psychology context

A strong interest in disorders of gut-brain interaction and mind-body healthcare

A collaborative, patient-centred approach

Excellent communication skills and confidence working both independently and within a team

Experience in private practice or a multidisciplinary setting is highly regarded.
