Are you an experienced psychologist looking for a change 2-4 days a week? Do you want to learn more about working with trauma? Do you want to be well-supported as you extend your skills in working with clients with PTSD and complex trauma?

We are looking for a registered clinical psychologist to join our friendly team. You need to be interested in learning and delivering Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a strongly evidence-based trauma therapy with over 30 years of research backing. At the Centre for Clinical Psychology, we have trained over 880 mental health professionals in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD – we know trauma therapy.

You will also continue to deliver high quality interventions for clients presenting with depression and anxiety.

THE ROLE:

This role includes training and professional development to become an accredited provider in Cognitive Processing Therapy, you will receive:

Two days of live training

20 hours of groups supervision

13 hours of online training

Ongoing individual supervision for trauma and non-trauma cases

Monthly group supervision

In addition to this you will also receive:

Two days of Schema Therapy training

Access to our online library of webinars and professional development. (We host regular online training for mental health professionals on a range of current topics in mental health)

The role is an employed position 2-4 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and Saturday preferred. Saturday can be whole day or morning only. Saturdays are paid at time and a half. Candidates who can work Saturdays will be prioritised. The successful candidate will work from our offices in Carlton.

Remuneration is based on experience.

For registered supervisors, there are also opportunities to provide supervision and be supported to extend your skills.

We provide a high level of in-house supervision to build your skills and confidence, as well as to challenge you to extend yourself. We have a professional administration team who provide a high level of support for clinicians, which means you can focus upon your client work and leave the rest to us.
