Facilitator – Casual Up to 15 Hours Per Week (additional hours may be available).
Are you someone who knows how to hold a room—whether it's a classroom, a stage, or something in between?
This is your chance to use your presence, passion, and people skills to create real impact in young lives.
Deliver engaging, high-energy mental health programs in schools and camps.
Whether your background is teaching, psychology, acting, performing or presenting — we want you!
Flexible, meaningful work that grows with you.
Do You Light Up a Room—and Use It for Good?
Maybe you’ve taught a tough class and kept them engaged. Maybe you’ve performed to a crowd and felt the energy shift. Maybe you're the person people naturally gravitate to when something important needs to be said.
If that sounds like you—and you’re passionate about helping young people understand and care for their mental health—we’d love to hear from you.
Who We Are
We’re zero2hero, a WA-based not-for-profit dedicated to empowering young people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to look after their mental health.
We design and deliver impactful programs in schools, camps, and community settings that combine evidence with the power of authentic human connection.
We ditch the dry and deliver with heart.
We make space for meaningful conversations.
And we believe serious topics can be explored in fun, engaging and unforgettable ways.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading interactive, engaging sessions with young people on mental health and wellbeing.
Facilitating group conversations that are relatable, thoughtful, and empowering.
Presenting in a range of settings—from school classrooms to campfire circles to packed auditoriums.
Adapting your style to suit different audiences, age groups, and environments.
Being a calm, confident, and caring presence that young people trust.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in teaching, youth work, psychology, drama, presenting—or any role where you’ve led groups with energy and empathy.
A strong sense of presence and the ability to hold attention in a room.
Great communication skills and a natural way with young people.
A Working with Children Check, driver’s license, and your own transport.
Training in Mental Health First Aid or safeTALK is a bonus—but if you’re a good fit, we’ll support you to get it.
Why You’ll Love It
You’ll be part of something genuinely impactful, supporting the mental health of the next generation.
Every day is different—this is a role that keeps you learning, moving, and inspired.
You’ll work with a passionate, like-minded team that values creativity and connection.
Starting at 15 hours per week, there’s room to grow into more.
Let’s Get Personal
We’re not just looking for a resume—we want to get a sense of you. Please include a cover letter addressed to Kristy (she’ll be the first to read it!) and answer these two questions:
What’s your secret to keeping a group engaged—whether it’s students, an audience, or a crowd?
What excites you most about this role?
PSSS no personalised cover letter then you won’t progress… its our little test of your attention to detail!
Sound Like You?
We’d love to hear your story. Apply now and let’s start the conversation.
