The Grounds currently has openings for hosts and floor supervisors across their venues. If you possess leadership skills and want to progress your career in a vibrant and energetic environment OR you have previous hosting experience in a fast paced high volume cafe or restaurant then this is for you !

As the Supervisor , you'll play a crucial role in supporting the current Venue Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our front-of-house. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Overseeing daily operations including opening and closing procedures and the adherence to budgets

Communicating clearly with staff to provide direction and ensure tasks are completed.

Responsibility for training and monitoring staff performance

Managing staffing levels to meet business needs and maintain excellent service.

Supervising the floor to maintain The Grounds' standards and ensure exceptional service.

Who You Are:

You have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a similar a la carte venue.

Your hands-on approach means you thrive on the floor, supporting, leading and training the front-of-house staff.

You are experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations, from opening to closing.

Customer satisfaction is your priority, and you excel at building rapport with guests.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

You have a genuine desire to learn and grow with our team.

Your strong people management and communication skills set you apart.

As the Host you are always welcoming, engaging, playful and cheerful, ready to answer every question, reassure, assist and genuinely engage with every guest that comes through our doors!

Who You Are:

2+years experience in a customer facing hospitality role.

You have weekend availability

You are passionate about working with people and going above and beyond to create exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.

You are very well presented - the first point of contact for our venues needs to be!

You are confident, patient, energetic, fast and a great communicator!

You know exactly how to read the room and turn those tables like a pro
