About the role

Altona Bowling Club is seeking an experienced Duty Manager/Supervisor to join our team. In this casual role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clubhouse, ensuring a high level of customer service and smooth running of all activities. With a focus on hospitality and management, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of shift staff, ensuring all duties are completed to a high standard

Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, addressing any queries or concerns

Manage the opening and closing procedures for the clubhouse, including cash handling and security

Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing, health and safety regulations

Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the club

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar duty manager or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Familiarity with liquor licensing laws and health and safety regulations

Proven experience in cash handling and stock control

A friendly, professional and reliable approach

Must have current RSA and RSG Certificates

Victorian Gaming Licence

Current TAB and Keno Compliance
