About the role

Join the team at Walker Real Estate International as a Property Manager based in Ballarat, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring rental providers and renters receive exceptional service and support.

What you'll be doing

Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, including liaising with rental providers and renters

Conduct regular property inspections and maintenance checks

Oversee the leasing process, including advertising available properties, conducting viewings, and managing applications

Ensure timely rent collection and manage any arrears or disputes

Prepare and process routine documentation such as condition reports, exit reports and routine notices

Respond to renter inquiries and address any property-related issues in a prompt and professional manner

Maintain detailed property records and provide regular reporting to landlords via a CRM

Work collaboratively with the broader property management team to achieve business objectives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a property management role, preferably in the residential sector

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with rental providers and renters

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant property management legislation

Proficient in using property management software and databases

Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach

A current Victorian driver's licence
