Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement for a System Engineering lead join their team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of System Engineers and Administrators to support government clients.
• Manage a multi-vendor environment using the SIAM framework.
• Serve as the main contact for Client Delivery Executives and account executives.
• Develop career paths, training, and engagement for team members.
• Align resources to projects and meet delivery goals, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Oversee Evergreen and release management to keep systems updated.
• Drive the technology roadmap for client estates and future operations.
• Improve client satisfaction through continuous service enhancements.
• Provide regular SLA/KPI reports and conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Handle escalations and engage with clients to build IT solutions.
• Optimize costs through automation and efficiency.
• Develop standard processes for incident and change management, following ITIL guidelines.
• Track and report team productivity and quality KPIs.
• Analyse technology trends and advise clients.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of ICT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Degree in an ICT-related field.
• Proficiency with ITIL and SIAM frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and M365 stack, including Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Office 365.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of managing a team of 50+ members.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing government projects and understanding governance structures.
• Ability to adapt to changing technical environments and coach team members.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• ITIL certification and any Microsoft 365 certifications are preferred.

• Full Australian citizenship and an existing NV1 security clearance. (Essential)
