The Opportunity:

As a Junior Draftsperson, you will play a vital role in supporting our drafting team by creating, modifying, and managing technical drawings under the guidance of our Senior Draftsman. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications, and calculations.

Utilising AutoCAD software to produce accurate and detailed drawings.

Learning and adhering to relevant industry standards and drafting procedures.

Collaborating with project managers, clients and other team members to ensure design accuracy and constructability.

Organising and maintaining drawing files and documentation.

Performing basic calculations and data entry as required.

Contributing to project coordination and communication.

About You:

Hold a qualification in drafting, design, or architecture.

Previous experience in a drafting or related role.

Basic understanding of drafting principles and techniques.

Proficient in using AutoCAD.

Basic technical knowledge of shop fitting industry or architecture.

Familiarity with specific industry standards or regulations.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
