About the role

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Gardener to join our team at VIP LAWN AND GARDEN MAINTENANCE in Margaret River, WA. This full-time position will see you take on a key leadership role, overseeing a team of gardeners to maintain the beautiful gardens and landscaping across our prestigious properties.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating a team of gardeners to ensure all landscaping and garden maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard

Carrying out hands-on gardening duties such as mowing, pruning, weeding, planting and mulching

Monitoring stock levels of gardening equipment and materials, and placing orders as required

Providing training and guidance to junior members of the gardening team

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Liaising with clients to understand their gardening requirements and preferences

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Leading Hand Gardener or equivalent role

Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscaping principles, with the ability to identify and treat common plant diseases and pests

Proficient use of a range of gardening equipment and tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A current driver's licence and your own reliable transport
