Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer
Location: Inner Western Suburbs, VIC (approx. 9km from Melbourne CBD)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced supply chain professional with a passion for customer service and logistics? Our client, a global automation and robotics organisation, is seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer to manage end-to-end coordination of parts ordering, stock management, and client communications.
Based in Melbourne’s inner western suburbs, with a move to a larger premises planned in the near future, this is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be the key link between local operations, clients, and international stakeholders — particularly the Head Office in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete supply chain process – from order placement through to final delivery.
Liaise directly with Head Office in Italy to prioritise orders and ensure timely shipment of parts.
Communicate with warehouse supervisors to provide real-time updates on delivery status and expected arrival times.
Coordinate both warranty replacements and new product purchases.
Monitor stock levels, raise orders, and ensure accuracy across inventory and reporting.
Use SAGE and Salesforce for inventory tracking, job ticketing, and CRM management.
Prepare and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel to support operational tracking and planning.
Build strong, lasting relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage and prioritise urgent client requests with professionalism and efficiency.
About You:
Experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service, ideally within a warehousing or distribution environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – you enjoy building relationships.
Proficient in SAGE and Salesforce (or similar ERP and CRM platforms).
Confident with Excel, including basic data analysis and reporting.
Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative, solutions-focused, and customer service driven.
