About the role
Amcal Kedron is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Kedron, As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our organisation.
What you'll be doing
Helping coordinate DAA and MPS services, including updating patient profiles and managing packing schedules
Making medication changes and updates to charts, including preparing new Websters
Communicating with aged care facilities and carers to ensure medication supply runs smoothly
Packing and checking Webster packs accurately, following pharmacy protocols
Keeping records up to date and assisting with stock levels for packing supplies
Lending a hand with general pharmacy tasks, including dispensing support when needed
Being part of team discussions and ongoing training to improve how we deliver care
What we're looking for
Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy (essential)
S2/S3 certification (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficient with pharmacy systems and technology, including Fred Dispense, Office & POS, Quantum, and Healthstream
A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to delivering quality patient care
