Full-Time Dispensary Technician – Silverwater Pharmacy

Silverwater Pharmacy is on the cusp of an exciting transformation. As we prepare to transition into a key distribution and dispensary hub for one of Sydney’s most forward-thinking pharmacy groups, we’re seeking an experienced and proactive Dispensary Technician to join our growing team.

About the Role:

In this full-time position, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day dispensary operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently dispense medications under pharmacist supervision

Manage prescription processing and maintain up-to-date patient records

Oversee and take responsibility for specific dispensary areas such as:

Webster packing coordination and execution

Claiming (including PPA and pharmacy program claiming)

Compliance with DD and script handling procedures

Ensure accurate stock control and inventory integrity

Maintain high standards of dispensary workflow and follow SOPs

Identify and resolve process gaps, contributing to continuous improvement

Work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with pharmacists and retail staff to deliver excellent service

About You:

Proven experience as a Dispensary Technician in a busy community pharmacy

Strong working knowledge of PBS claiming and pharmacy programs

Familiarity with Webster packing systems and schedule 8 handling

Experience using Z Dispense is highly preferred

High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and process-oriented mindset

Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a changing environment

Strong communication skills and a proactive team player attitude
