Join our well-established Australian food manufacturing company as an Administration & Operations Assistant and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across sales, logistics, and office admin functions.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for supporting key business functions including sales order processing, customer service, stock coordination, transport bookings, and general administration. You’ll work closely with production, logistics, and management teams to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing and coordinating customer sales orders, data entry, and investigating short supplies or claims.

Collaborating with production managers to analyse forecasts and assist with stock planning.

Booking pickups and deliveries, following up on delays, damages, and non-compliance issues.

Entering delivery dockets and maintaining accurate incoming goods records.

Handling customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Preparing monthly documentation, including production folders and reports.

Checking and processing Woolworths and Coles freight claims.

Updating software related to the ordering process and maintaining accurate pricing.

Ordering and stock control of office/factory supplies including stationery, PPE, and packaging.

Supporting general office duties: filing, scanning, archiving, mail, and admin tasks.

Assisting management and contributing to WHS and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

Previous experience in an admin, customer service, or operations role (FMCG or manufacturing experience a bonus).

Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively

Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving ability.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems.

A team player with a can-do, proactive and friendly attitude.
