We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced administrative super star to join our team as the Retail Operations Assistant.
YOUR NEW ROLE
The Retail Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Retail Operations Team in overseeing the daily operations of multiple stores within our retail chains. They also play a key role in ensuring smooth communication between stores and Head Office, supporting day-to-day operational tasks, tracking compliance, assisting with inventory and reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
As our Retail Operations Assistant, you will provide administrative support across a wide variety of areas, including:
Assisting the Retail Operations team with administrative duties required for the daily operations of the stores.
Managing the ticketing system by assigning Help Desk tickets to the appropriate team members and ensuring timely responses.
Providing administrative support with rostering, onboarding of new employees and general employee administration.
Supporting the monitoring of store performance through data entry and reporting.
Ensuring that the stores are regularly supplied with essential stationery, consumables and promotional materials.
Assisting with the rollout of promotional campaigns.
Providing general administrative support to the Retail Operations Manager and the Assistant Retail Operations Manager.
ABOUT YOU
You are exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail. You recognise the crucial role that administrative support plays in enhancing team efficiency and ensuring our retail team has everything they need to excel. Your skills and experience include:
At least 1-year prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a retail environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
