Role Overview:
As our Commercial & Business Development representative you will play a crucial role in developing and managing customer relationships to execute business sales growth and earning strategy for Crop Nutrition& Mining product lines for the given geographic territory. Your ability to learn and understand product attributes and translate this to a value proposition to our customers will help benefit towards business development and successfully closing sales. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, a supportive global team and lead exciting projects that shape the future of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage key accounts and drive new business development initiatives through technical sales, relationship building, and strategic negotiation.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and support long-term business growth.
· Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal departments—including management, accounts receivable, customer service, and technical teams—to ensure seamless communication and support.
· Identify and interpret customer needs, uncover business opportunities, and manage existing accounts to meet sales and margin goals while fostering new growth.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations to strengthen partnerships and increase customer retention.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment on commercial objectives, project timelines, and customer expectations.
· Stay current on industry trends, market activity, competitive landscape, and technical developments to inform strategic decisions and enhance product positioning in the target market.
What We’re Looking For:
Undergraduate degree in Metallurgy, Mining, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related business field. A background in business and commercial management is highly preferred.
5-10 years of relevant experience in the mining industry. With at least 3-5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
Proven experience in the mining, specialty materials or chemical industry is essential.
Previous hands-on experience in mining operations and industry-specific processes such as froth flotation is preferred.
SalesForce knowledge is preferred
Based in Western Australia, preferred in Perth WA
