BWA National is seeking a reliable Production Supervisor to join our team full-time, based primarily at our Lytton facility in Queensland. In this hands-on supervisory role, you will oversee a team of up to 10 staff on our production line, supporting the safe and efficient re-testing of BBQ gas cylinders. You will also coordinate with other key sites to manage production scheduling and staffing levels.

The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in a production environment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. A forklift licence and the ability to perform physical labour are advantageous.

Shift times to be negotiated with successful candidate. Preferred shift hours 6am - 3pm or 7am - 4pm.

Training will require an early start with shifts commencing around 5am.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Liaise with the Operations Manager and complete all administrative duties in a timely manner

Liaise with key client managers, maintain and foster good relationships with key clients

Basic Paperwork Duties (daily production reports)

Management of staff including conducting interviews, onboarding new employees and assisting with disciplinary action as required

Preparation of work rosters

Re-testing and maintenance activities of cylinders

Overseeing the safe operation of our production line(s)

Experience & Attributes:

Prior experience managing a team & preparing effective work rosters

Forklift (LF) licence preferred

Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg

Strong focus on safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable punctuality to work

Able to consistently pass random drug and alcohol testing on site

Reliable transport

Willingness to travel and visit other sites

Ideal candidate may be willing to travel working away on occasion
