Steel Structures Australia is a family-owned business delivering high-quality structural steel to tier-one builders. We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our fabrication team in a permanent role.

Permanent, full-time position with CFMEU EBA rates.

Standard hours: 6am–2pm, with overtime available.

Monthly RDOs.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.

Oversee structural steel fabrication and support team members as needed.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure work aligns with specifications.

Perform quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate with project management to meet production deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

Trade-qualified Boilermaker with experience in structural steel fabrication.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Solid understanding of Australian standards and workshop safety practices.

CSWIP Welding Inspector certificate desirable, but not essential.

Forklift licence desirable, but not essential.
